Zien | Waterloo West High School | Class of 2023

Welcome back to The Blog! Today we spotlight Class of 2023 SRD Senior, Zien Houston!

Zien was the next C/o 2023 SRD Starlet Squad member to do their Senior Experience session. Zien's session truly covered the full spectrum of her vibrant personality! We started the day at Foxy's Beauty Lounge in Waterloo where Zien was pampered with a professional makeup application by Lakeba. Once makeup was done, we headed over to a salon owned by one of Zien's mom's friends to use her amazing rose wall! Zien's purple top and Crocs were the perfect complimentary color to the vibrant pink of the location. Next, it was off to downtown Waterloo for a cozy neutral look accentuated by pops of color from flower in planters scattered around the area. Then we drove over to my favorite mural wall for urban industrial vibes. Zien's pigtails, white tank top, pale green shorts, and white sneakers paired perfectly with the leading lines of the metal railing and bright colors of the mural wall. Afterward, we went over to Cedar Falls for a more formal, professional look in the lobby of the Gallagher Bluedorn on the UNI campus. Finally, we ended the day in the glow of sunset with some breathtaking foliage and plenty of hair tossing!
