Welcome back to The Blog! Today we spotlight Class of 2023 SRD Senior, Mariah Thurmond!

Mariah is the final C/o 2023 SRD Senior Starlet and second of two C/0 2023 SRD Seniors who booked the 365 Session, which allows Seniors to split their sessions into multiple parts over multiple seasons. She split her Senior Experience into three parts - Summer, Fall, and Winter.

Mariah's Summer session started off in Downtown Waterloo, where we captured some soft urban vibes. Next, we found some pretty spots with beautiful lighting around Mariah's school for a more formal look. Finally, we hit the field for some awesome sunset-lit softball photos. I LOVE outdoor sports photos, and Mariah's truly knocked it out of the park! (Buh dum, tss!)

For Mariah's Fall session, we kept the vibe natural and cozy, starting off at Hartman Reserve in a warm flannel and jeans, then moving to Downtown Cedar Falls in a patterned maxi dress and jean jacket for some photos by the river. Finally, Mariah bundled up in a sweater, boots, and a cute hat from my collection for the cutest autumn-on-Main Street photos!

Finally, we waited until the snow had fallen for Mariah's Winter session. It is freezing, but she was a trooper! Mariah braved the cold in two different looks, tossing, writing, and laying down in the fresh snow. Anything for the perfect shot! The whole experience wrapped up with beautiful (and freezing!) sunset photos of Mariah in her prom dress. Mariah truly got the FULL SRD Senior experience with her multi-season session!
