Welcome back to The Blog! Today we spotlight Class of 2023 SRD Senior, Jesus Mendoza!

Jesus had such fun ideas for his Senior session, and he was willing to do whatever was needed to get the best shot! We started his day paying homage to his passion for cooking and his aspirations to be a world-renowned chef (move over, Gordan Ramsey!) Jesus has even been accepted to and will be attending culinary school in New York! Of course, we had to recreate some famous celebrity chef poses and create a few of our own. The balancing knife is definitely a favorite of mine! After that, he ditched the chef's coat and changed into a sporty urban look to stroll around Main Street. We took a ton of fun shots all up and down the storefronts. Next, Jesus changed into his last look for the day, but we were nowhere near finished with his session! Jesus was extremely brave and trekked out into the Cedar River for a truly magical merman moment! Luckily, he brought a backup pair of jeans to speed up the drying process. Finally, we ended the day at Big Woods Lake surrounded by incredible orange trees and warm, Fall sunshine.
