Welcome back to The Blog! Today we spotlight Class of 2023 SRD Senior, Asher Beermann!

Asher was another out-of-town Senior for this year! I have known Asher since he was about 10 years old when we performed in the same production of Les Misérables for the Waterloo Community Playhouse. It was such an honor all these years later to be his Senior photographer and celebrate this milestone with him and his family! Asher's family drove up to Cedar Falls from La Porte City for his session, and they brought a whole entourage! Asher was joined by Mom and Dad, his sweet pup, Sizzle, and his awesome girlfriend, Audrey! We started the day in Hartman Reserve Nature Center with a neutral casual look to compliment the rich colors of early Fall. We got Sizzle in for a couple quick photos and pets before sending him off for the day. Audrey joined in for some adorable photos of the two dancing in the flowers. Asher then switched to a button down and slacks for some more great nature shots and a few more pictures with Miss Audrey. Next, it was off to Main Street for a vibrant urban look. I loved the way Asher's blue and orange outfit perfectly matched the locations we found downtown! Finally, we went to a local track to get some awesome sports shots to celebrate Asher's cross-country accomplishments. I am obsessed with how emotional and powerful the track images turned out - take a look for yourself!
